Disclaimer:
I wasn’t able to order ahead for the online store like I usually do. There was a snafu with Amazon. They ended up putting my paperback on pre-order by accident. It supposedly never happens. (Yes, I am that lucky.)
So my order is in and I should have some stock by the end of next week to send your way.
The Gifts of Kali might be the most important piece of the Greystone puzzle yet!
I don’t like to exaggerate. Okay, yes I do. But in this case, I only tell the truth. The Gifts of Kali has ramifications for everything that comes after. That includes The Final Gauntlet this October and also the back half of the main series.
What started as a simple origin-type story blossomed into something with far-reaching consequences for Soriya, Mentor, and the rest of the cast.
The Gifts of Kali Back Cover Description
The world will be wiped clean of sin.
Shiva has returned and every life in Portents is at risk. His goal is simple—to purify humanity and transform the world.
Soriya Greystone faces a threat she can’t defeat: a monster bent on destruction with the power to back it up. All hope for survival lies with Kali, Goddess of Death.
The only problem is Kali doesn’t care whether or not the world burns.
Soriya must find a way to convince the reluctant goddess to stand with her before Portents is swallowed up by Shiva’s growing darkness.
Soriya’s training years continue to unfold in this electrifying adventure that puts everything she’s learned to the test.
Thank you for supporting the series.
Signs of Portents was originally conceived as a standalone novel, if you can believe that. I was learning how to put together a novel and a series developed during the writing process.
Soriya has always had that effect on me, I guess. She’s a true force of nature and I’ve enjoyed every second spent chronicling her journey.
I hope you enjoy this latest adventure. Be sure to reach out and tell me your thoughts at lou@loupaduano.com.
Happy reading!
