Secret of the Stone – a brief introspection
This book… Well, I have a lot to say about it. It has challenged me in ways I could never have imagined this far into my writing career. I’ve hated this book at times. Over the last six weeks, though, the story has evolved massively during the editing phase. The connections made, the callbacks to the rest of the series, and the hints about the future have turned this into one of the best experiences I’ve had in writing.
Revisiting Legends and Legacies helped as well. Once I wrapped my head around the macro-story, the tale being told here took shape fairly quickly.
It’s Soriya and Loren like you’ve never seen them. Get ready.
