Why read this book?
Um, because it’s a blast? Seriously, putting this project together is something I will always cherish. The twelve-part serial structure was an incredible challenge, and I found it deeply rewarding as a storyteller. Soriya and Loren both shine in this book.
Also, Army in the Obelisk introduces an element that will play a pretty big role in Secret of the Stone. (Coming this August!) If you want the backstory when Book Nine arrives, you’ll want to check out this book.
